Allen Toussaint’s critically acclaimed Songbook album is available for the first time on vinyl on this 2-LP edition. A new 2-CD format is also available featuring the original album plus 20 unreleased bonus recordings. Recorded at Joe’s Pub in New York City in 2009 the album brings together Toussaint, a piano and his extensive catalog of songs. With the spotlight on his originals, it includes "Lipstick Traces (On a Cigarette)," "Holy Cow," "Get Out of My Life, Woman," and more.
